If you want to make some tasty and healthy vegetables for lunch, then gram flour vegetable is the best option for you. Besan is healthy as well as tasty. You can feed it to your family for lunch or dinner.



  • Besan (100 grams)
  • Red chili (1/4 tsp)
  • Garam masala (1/2 tsp)
  • Green chili (01 finely chopped)
  • - Tamarind (20 grams)
  • Roasted cumin (01 tsp)
  • Sugar (01 tsp)
  • Oil (1/2 tsp)
  • Black salt (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt (as per taste)


Method to make Besan curry:

  • First of all, soak tamarind in a bowl of water overnight.
  • After this, beat the gram flour well in lukewarm water in a bowl.
  • Then add red chili, garam masala, green chili, and salt.
  • After this, once again beat the solution well.
  • Now put the gram flour solution in a pan and cook it on medium flame.
  • Keep stirring the solution continuously with a spoon, so that the kernels fall into the gram flour.
  • Cook the besan batter for 10-12 minutes, it will become thick.
  • Now grease the surface by applying 1/2 teaspoon oil to a plate.
  • Then spread the gram flour mixture thinly on the plate and let it cool down.
  • When the solution cools down, the solution will solidify.
  • When it freezes, cut the layer of gram flour into small sizes.
  • Now mash the soaked tamarind well and filter its water.
  • Mix a big bowl of water with tamarind juice and mix it.
  • Mix a little black salt, roasted cumin, and a spoonful of sugar in this water.
  • Now put the pieces of gram flour in the tamarind solution and keep it for a while.

Take it out on a serving plate and serve it hot with rotis/parathas.
