If you want to make healthy idli for children by fusion, then this recipe is perfect for you.
- Idli - 10 pieces
- Cornflour - half cup
- Flour - half cup
- Soya sauce - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - half teaspoon
For Gravy: Onion, green chili, small piece ginger, capsicum, soy sauce, oil, cornflour, one cup spring onion.
First, cut the idli into small pieces. On the other hand, prepare a paste by mixing all the ingredients. For example- white flour, cornflour, ginger garlic paste, a little salt, and water. Now dip the idli pieces in this solution and deep fry them. Fry the idli and keep it aside. Now finely chop onion, green chilies, ginger, and capsicum. Pour 1 teaspoon of oil into a pan and lightly fry these ingredients in it. After that add half a teaspoon of soya sauce to it and put fried idli on top. Now mix cornflour with 2 cups of water in it. Boil it and remove it from the flame. Sprinkle green leafy onions on top and serve Idli Manuriyan hot.
