Process

  • First of all, soak the chickpeas overnight. After soaking, wash the chickpeas and keep them in the cooker. Add a small glass of water, baking soda, and salt to the cooker.
  • After this, close the lid of the cooker and boil it on the gas on a high flame. When 1 whistle comes in the cooker, reduce the flame of the gas. After cooking for 5 minutes, turn off the gas and let the cooker's gas go out on its own.
  • While the chickpeas are getting cold, put 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, put paneer pieces in it and fry them lightly.
  • After this, mix garam masala and half green coriander in the pan and stir it, take it off and keep it aside. Now grind tomatoes, green chilies, and ginger finely in the mixer.
  • - Heat oil in a pan. Put cumin seeds in hot oil and fry them. After roasting the cumin, mix onion in it and fry it. After roasting the onions, add dry mango powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and tomato-ginger paste and fry them.
  • When the masala leaves the oil, add one cup of water and cook till it starts boiling. When it starts boiling, put boiled chickpeas in the pan and stir it. If you find the curry of chickpeas too thick, then add more water as required and cook it.
  • After this, put the fried paneer mixture in the pan and stir it. Let it cook for 2 minutes, then turn off the gas and put the remaining green coriander in the pan, and stir it. Now take it off the gas and serve it to the family with hot roti or rice.
