If you want to serve healthy dosa to your family for breakfast, then this recipe will be the perfect option for you.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 1/2 cup urad dhuli
  • 1/4 cup chana dal
  • 1/2 cup thin nettle
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • A little refined oil for baking the dosa
  • salt to taste

Stuffing

  • 2 cups green peas
  • 1 cup carrot finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • pinch asafoetida powder
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 tsp refined oil for frying
  • salt to taste

 

Process

Wash the brown rice with water and place it in a glass bowl and fill it with water up to 1 inch above. Heat the bowl in the microwave on high for 5 minutes and leave it for half an hour. Then take it out. Throw the water out of the bowl and fill it again.

Wash gram and urad dal and fenugreek seeds and mix them with rice. Soak overnight. After draining the water in the morning, add some water to the mixer and prepare a dosa-worthy mixture.

Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan, add asafetida, mustard, and onion tempering and sprinkle peas and carrots. Add salt and pepper and cook till it melts. Add coriander leaves.

Grease a nonstick griddle with oil and pour the mixture little by little on the pan and cook it crisply from both sides, then roll peas and carrots in the middle and serve with chutney.
